Just lost my job

I'd been at a telephone directory company for over six years. Yesterday I was sacked owing to bad performance.

I guess I'm just looking for job-hunting strategies which might work for a self-dx aspie. And if anyone in the Philadelphia area is looking for an experienced editor/writer/word processor/proofreader, I'm available.

sorry to hear you lost your job. I can relate! Quick while you still have some self esteem and dignity, go to one of your local temp agencies and get a temp job while you look!
People that hire like to hire people that are working and besides something has to pay the bills.
hang in there and don't get discouraged!

Also, temp agencies are a good way to find out what other jobs you can apply your skills to. You don't necessarily have to do the same thing you've always done.

I've been offered and have accepted a new full-time editing job. It took awhile but I'm employed again!
