.... where I'll post my experiences in finding me a good and suitable job. Step by step I'll post what I encounter and my views about the process (or something). We'll see how it goes.

1)
Early days, early days.... but this morning I had an introduction or a less formal job interview so to say, with my 'care manager' and a woman who works in the personnel department of this large asylum (wrong word but ?).

A beautiful terrain where people with all sorts of mental problems are cared about. I believe there are about 1200 patients there (a few hundred more in the near future), maybe not all intern but it is huge with all sort of buildings in a park like setting. The surrounding is beautiful and some of the architecture is almost a hundred years old. Maybe older. Beautiful old Dutch style buildings but also modern ones. There is an intern zoo there (outdoors) and aviary on the premises. It's almost a little village in itself, with a church, restaurant, sport facilities, ponds, you name it. I haven't seen most of it myself, that big is it and it has a open structure so to say. Everyone can drive, walk or cycle through or over the whole park and it hasn't really the heavy feel some other places tend to have.

Anyway.... I have a very good feeling about the interview (we all did) but it is still too early to give a full job description. Probably I start part time as a jack of all trades where we slowly, one step at the time, are working towards me trying to help my fellow spectrumi, most probably youngsters. As someone with first hand experience, and I'm going to have to study again but that's totally fine.

Bit short but later more....
