Awesome video! My son would love that - where can you get it?

Those are LED keychain lights in a pair of white gloves, they are some slightly expensive ones because those are 7 color changers but you can grab them from electronic stores for like a dollar for a single color. (I use orbitlightshow.com for the specialty lights) heh my friends say I have an unfair advantage when giving light shows because of my sensory input.

My son gets very intimidated when other children are running around and running toward him. I don't want to be negative, but I am thinking that signing him up for soccer may not be such a good idea. He too has had lots of gross motor issues, but is progressing very well. I am just not sure he is ready for any contact sports at this point! I want to find physical things that he will do. He loves music, but doesn't have too many dance moves!!

I wasn't trying to suggest soccer to anyone. Just an example of how one can follow an interest and get something out of it even if it turns out they are very bad at it. You need the right program.

When I was about 10 or 11, the doctor said I would need leg braces to start walking normally. Or I could take dance classes and that might be enough to train me to walk straightly. No brainer to me, so I signed up for modern dance. I can't say that I was ever good, but my dance instructor was awesome and I actually liked the other people in the class. And I never had to get leg braces (I'm 30 now).

I was actually into a ton of sports as a kid. My mom worked as an aerobics instructor at the Y, and I went to preschool there. I was forced to take swimming lessons, but willingly did T-ball, coach pitch (my dad was the coach), gymnastics (mistake), volleyball, and basketball.

I'm still a klutz and not particularly good at anything, but I do love dancing. If I'm happy and at home, there will be dancing.
