I was actually going to cover the classes like you did, but decided to avoid that. These days, people DO do it by money. I have met a number of high class poor, and a LOT of low class rich! There are a LOT of movies about low class rich. Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have both said they want to restrict what their heirs get and one given reason was to not engender that low class mindset. Bear in mind that by low class, I DON'T mean anything having to do with money or "advanced education". As for me? I was kind of brought up upper/middle lower/upper class, socially. By socially, that means manners, customs, mindset, etc... It has NOTHING to do with friendships, starting any sort of relationship, etc.... HECK, even ROYALTY had special ways of dispensing with that. As for money, my mother HAD a middle/middle class income, and was probably otherwise upper/middle. NOW, it seems it is middle/lower and lower/middle. My father was middle/middle and I don't know where I would place him otherwise. NOW, for income, he is probably middle/upper.

BTW I have been in homes where it was a SMALL apartment, and the people made less than $50K. I have also been in BIG houses with people that made millions. I think I do fine in either case.

I am white collar but certainly NOT a banker. Based on where I SHOULD be, I would say my income is probably middle/middle. 8-( I usually act like I am middle/middle, but have been more upper/middle. I can do without the handshakes and false courtesy.

As for being slaves, I think most people in the US are either thieves in some way, or slaves. I am very much like a slave.

As for what I said, it is merely an outline. Some may not have the money, time, discipline, or physical ability. That is just the way things are. EVERYONE'S ability is different.
