Support for AS/autism families in Charlottesville?

Hi, all -

It turns out my brother, who's getting divorced, is trying to get at least shared custody of his son, who's six and suspected on the spectrum; there's a developmental issue of some sort, and he has his own classroom aide. He's also got some physical problems. My brother hasn't been a primary parent before -- he was the sole breadwinner while his stbx took care of their son -- and I'm sure he'll need some support, especially since he has no family nearby. He's also an indie contractor, so he doesn't have support from friends at a workplace. Does anyone have knowledge of helpful AS/autism groups/people in C'ville? Thanks.
