my 13 y/o son broke his ankle during a football game at school and was in hospital but I only found out after he came out of hospital
so after I finished work I rang my ex boyfriend and said I will come to his place to see my son as I am his mother
but a***hole ex boyfriend told me not to come into the house.I dont ever go into the house because I cant stand my ex ,normally when I do see my son I wait outside in the car then take him back to mine to stay but on this occasion my son is rather laid up so if I want to see him the only choice I have is to go inside his house
but the ex boyfriend of mine is being nasty about it ,I only want to see my son

anyone know what I should do? Im stressing out a bit :(

If you have custody, he has to allow you to see your son.

You have rights as the mother.

I'll have to look up exactly what they are in the UK>

So knowing nothing more about the situation, including what the law is like in custody cases re: visitation rights, especially in England since you're there, you nonetheless might wanna try talking to an attorney/lawyer/barrister. I don't know the exact term used in the UK. Or someone who has some legal expertise in the area. Social or child services, whatever you call it in the UK, is another possible option.
