Hello - does anyone know material or things that might help my autistic 4 year old grand daughter- who has somehow the ability to read large words she sees as nd connect with numbers—- I’d like to be able to focus on that ability and help her get better-since it’s a wonderful ability- and other things she is still not doing - or is not consistent- thank you

You might want to get her a thesaurus to see the connection between words/

A rhyming dictionary can also be interesting.

Have you tried sitting with her and reading older children's stories to her while following the words with your finger? When I say "older" I mean like really old classic stories like Alice in Wonderland. The words in those old books are more challenging than modern ones.

Congratulations on hitting the jackpot with your granddaughter. Illiteracy is such a problem these days. She has a big advantage with this early talent!

With "Connect with numbers" you mean she knows the length of the words or how many letters it has?
