I agree pirating hurts both the creators and consumers.

I pirate sometimes, but what really bothers me is a lot of people have this mentality like "Oh sweet, I can get these games for free??? I will never buy a game ever again!"

I just like to try before I buy, and the age of demos/shareware is LONG dead. Even if a game does end up having a demo, odds are it is going to be short and/or terrible. I really can't think of the last time I played a demo that made me want to buy the full version (Hitman 3 maybe).

i find people who are honest about it and just say there thiefs to be far less repulsive than people who pirate and try to justify it, if your a pirate, your a lier and a thief, but if you don't try to deny that i wont find you repulsive to the point of wanting to get a 2 by 4 and smacking you in the head with it. but i still shun you and think you should shoot your self in the foot or repent and by your games and turn away from your life of crime.

I'm not trying to justify it, but I do buy games if I like them.

A lot of people don't seem to understand that if you don't buy games, they won't make money, and devs won't take chances with similar games, sequels, or ports :x

And they wonder why all of these awesome games from Japan never get released in America

ubisoft is a joke, its so dumb it has redefined the comedy of drm's, you cant compare ubisoft to some thing dumb, you compare some thing dumb to ubisoft.

Can you stop linking to pirate sites.

I'm a pirate but I do end up buying the games I like. Ever noticed 360 games being pirated? Yeah, I'm not those people. I have a ps3, I buy games. No piracy on the PS3 whatsoever except for music and movies. Oh for cracking games, as long as you owned the physical copy to boot, then sure. I hate leaving a disc in my drive. What if the drive went bad and then I have to open it up and get it.

Also, there are real pirates out there like who actually do have a boat with guns and hijack ships. Yes. Piracy hurts everyone including the ones out on the sea.

alacount = i love steeling, i do it a lot i got a lot of practice, im a complete douche bag but at least i don't try to hide that.

ravenitruis = im a thief, but i try to justify it to my self cause i know deep down its wrong, but if i can put a spin onto it its ok to do. but in reality im just lieing to my self because i am a thief, but as long as i purchase some of the things i steel it evens out. but in reality im still lieing to my self.

for me, i use to steel, i have sense repented, acknowledge what i did was bad and never stoled again.

and i im pretty good at it = lol, who can be bad at it, its ether you know how to do it or you don't, the next step is knowing how to crack a game for others to steel. your 'good' at it when your able to get a game and crack it for others, in tell than your just a wannabe script kitty. thats like your grandma saying im good at using microsoft word, every one is good at it if you spend 5 mins to learn to do so, when your able to break the drm for creed 2 on your own, than you can say your good.

i find Abandonia to be a great site to download games from.....you may need the DOSbox program to use them but there's links to other sites that teach you how to run them..some knowledge of programming will help but i don't think it's needed...after all i can run most of the games that i like to play....

I only ever download old games which aren't available anymore, or if they are they're hard to get. But cracking games is something I enjoy doing. I hate having to put the discs in, and I've lost a few discs over the years and had my game saved by a no-cd crack.

Hey, I'm thinking of downloading a game for the first time (fed up with losing the CDs and CD keys all the time).

Does anyone know a good site for downloading them? I don't mind paying for them, I just want one that doesn't scam me or deliver a heap of viruses at the same time

thanks :)
