Not that I really use Steam anymore!

Jonsi, just by telling your current nickname on Steam makes it hard for us to try to add you or even find you.

The only ways to add someone on Steam is,
the username you use to login
the contact email address (if you only have it registered to one Steam account, though you can use same email on as many accounts as you want, however if you do that Steam will randomly pick just one account if trying to add using email)
Steam Community page with raw Steam command to add someone (steam://friends/add/COMMUNITY-ID-HERE-A ... T-STEAM-ID)

So instead of telling your current nickname you should either link to your Steam Community profile, and if you happen to change your custom URL often too you shouldn't link to the custom URL but to the 64bit Steam ID URL.

If you are going to use that Raw Steam command to add you note that no forum software automaticly parse steam:// commands into links so you have to either click the add link button on new message page or write [ url]steam://friends/add/76561198009617941 [ /url] without spaces inside bracets.

Or copy "steam://friends/add/76561198009617941" into your address bar... :rolleyes:
