Used to feel that way until I expanded my horizons a bit, and then there was always something comin' out for the 360 between waiting months and months for the next Wii title.

Now, though, without a job, I've got to make things last. Only have enough scrounged up to afford Lollipop Chainsaw and then that's it until I'm either able to get a new job or somehow make some money off youtube. Been going through old games I've never finished before, like Chrono Trigger and hopefully FF4, 5, and 6, all of which have been satisfying. Have also been finding glitches or new ways to play to make games more challenging or fun, and have also been doing Let's Play's on youtube.

I feel the same. I am big into cod but it all just seems the same after awhile. New vegas and fallout 3 had me occupied for awhile but i got bored of them eventually.

Bulletstorm is your friend. I am sick to death of FPSes and all the trappings, but Bulletstorm just 'raised the bar' for me.

you kind of have to balance it. I have a friend who keeps buying more and more video games and gets burnt out for ages, never learns lol.

I definitely don't play for as many hours now as I did when I was younger. Before online shopping really took off, games were usually pretty expensive to buy so I didn't get them too often, so when I did it felt more special and I'd be more excited to play. Now I'm spoiled for choice with all the cheap games I've acquired! Also, when you become an adult you have different things taking up you're time now, as a kid you could play for hours on end since there were no other distractions in the way. I still enjoy gaming to this day and I imagine I always will in some capacity.

For me, it depends on what aspect you're talking about. It was a deep special interest of mine as a child. Now, while my desire to play games comes and goes, I have absolutely no ambition to buy any more consoles. I own quite a lot of old and obscure games on past generation consoles, and with some of the new consoles, they either don't have complete backwards-compatibility, or the backwards-compatibility comes at the cost of repurchasing the games. Not to mention the pricing on the consoles is way outta my scope. Sure, the new technology will cause it to cost more, but that big a difference? No thanks.

I haven't got into anything since Infamous this time last year. But I can't get into new things easily, I go over the old ones and get nostalgic and feel dissapointed it's just not the same as the first time. (Story of my life).

I might with say, A new Broken Sword or the Resident Evil coming up. Same with Tomb Raider. I stick to what I know.

I tend to go through phases with games, occasionally something new will come out that ill get addicted too for a short period - before I lose interest.

At the moment, I want a very specific thing and that thing does NOT exist in any shape or form which really irritates me urgo iv lost interest in games at current.

I seem to always want/like things that are too obscure or non-existant, I wish my tastes werent so obscure somethings, it makes finding things to enjoy incredibly difficult to impossible!

At present, I want to play a first person shooter that is REALLY ultra lovecraftian (weird, mind-screwey levels, non-euclidean geometry and creatures that defy any natural law of physics).

Once I fell in love with video games at age 8, I never stopped loving them (I'm 23 now). I play every day (once I get my schoolwork done of course), I'm constantly reading up on gaming news, I receive three gaming magazines, my game collection is 100+ and ever growing, my room is littered with statues and knick-knacks from many a collector's edition, and I have a video game tattoo. My passion/obsession for video games is as strong as ever.
