You're not alone. The cognitive aspect of them makes me really terrible at them. Plus, I don't like first-person, as I'm not that fast at reacting to someone hitting me from behind (or from any angle where I can't see their general vicinity).

Oh boy - took me quite a bit to get used to first person. I was always best at 3rd person. I always go 3rd person in vehicles if I can.

Yeah... my memory is dire too... but at some point it "clicks" and I got it. Well... as long as I take the same route lol... but slowly I begin pushing different patterns to take. Eventually, I get it. But dang if some servers don't add a stack of blocks here... a log there... and just that little difference has me lost all over again! Grrr!
