Originally they were announced as Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2, but they finally decided that now that they had officially run out of colors it might be time to end the whole color thing altogether.

My mistake, but the fact remains is that they have given up on finding more color pairs.

Well I was thinking that Light would be ineffective to Psychic like Psychic was to Dark. Since Light and Dark are complete opposites, they can crit each other. I do agree on rebuffing Psychic though.

I've been thinking an official Crystal type could be added too. There has already been a Crystal Onix, so it can be doable. That and it would give Electric another weakness as well (Crystal absorbs electricity, something like that.)

I just got Black 2 for Christmas, so I have yet to beat it. Once I do, I'll get X because the X Pokemon looks so pretty. (I'm a mammal lover) When it comes to starters I usually never pick water since water pokemon are so slow. I think I'll go with fire for X since it just looks cuter than the grass one. I look foreword to seeing more new pokemon.

There is another reason to use X and Y rather than another colour.

X and Y can also fit into chromesomes, or representing the different dimensions: X is width, Y is height, and Z would actually be depth which works into this being the first 3D main game.

Fennekin is my choice :) I'm SUPER excited myself, my Pokemon obsession has flared back up in recent months and this one just sounds AWESOME. But I don't want to wait until October XD

On X, I am so going to name my character Lord Satan. I can't wait to see what the NPC's have to say. It's already my Joy Avenue name.
