I told you. My dodging sucks. It's not easy using the mouse. I used level skip most of the time. I've tried source ports, but they didn't work out to well. I don't want to try anymore source ports. I'm done with them. I've lost faith in them. Downloading them and extracting them is easy but getting them to work the way I want them to is a different language. If there are instructions, I'd rather not. I've already been through enough headaches these past few days. I've already decided to get Doom 3 BFG and hope Ultimate Doom and Doom II work like the xbox version of Doom 3 Limited Collector's Edition because that's what I'm used to.

Ahhh.... the mouse. That bit, I can understand. I"m not at all fond of using it for most games myself... I usually force controller compatibility with most things instead (and by "force", I mean the games in question dont support controllers, but I bloody well make it work anyway). Me with a mouse is... a big pile of inaccuracy and crashing into things. Oddly, Doom and any other FPS is the exception... cant do those with a controller. Dont know why. I'm sure it makes sense somehow.

I think preserving old games is a good thing. My own views on copyrights and intellectual property differ than that held by the law. I have issues with profiting off of or claiming ownership/origination of another's work but not simply putting it out there.
