Oh wow, me too!

When Super Mario World came out, I kept drawing world map type things during the creative time in class

I imagine my own cartoons, which is why I'm going to be a cartoonist in the future; I sometimes imagine improvements to video games, such as a create-a-Yoshi feature for Yoshi games.

All the time.
Got this one game idea that could/would revolutionise gaming as we know it. Unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to divulge any of the info on it as I don't have it copyrighted yet.

Have since I was like 8. Wanted to be a game designer for a long time, before I realized I'd hate the actual process of CREATING the game (i.e. programming, level design, etc.) wheres found the process of writing a book much easier. So I've switched to novel writing, and I've been settled on that for a long time. But I still plan out game ideas, as well as books and films and music.

I have a few ideas myself. I'm thinking about sharing them, maybe on this site... ... http://www.wiigameideas.com/

I wonder if there are any more sites like this out there (not just for the Wii console)?

Good luck with that. It's a tough racket.

Indeed I do. Unfortunately, as others have noted, the realization of your video game dreams is not an easy path. It's now even more difficult to succeed in the video game industry than it is in the movie industry. :(

I do this all the time, and I think that they might actually be fun games to play, but I can never think of anything creative when I actually have a computer or paper in front of me to record it all.

Oh well, it passes the time while I work/sit around at school.

Not usually. More like movies, cuz then I have the ability to control the characters. In a video game it's the player who controls them, not the creator.

Yes, but mostly its Star Wars games. I like to think of a Star Wars game that has almost Ninja Gaiden's famous level of difficulty, allows you to make choices to turn Light or Dark, and has lots of horror elements in it.

I have the game editor for Half-life, but I know I actually would need a Star Wars one to at least attempt something like this.

I would love it if Force Unleashed had a computer game editor, or even a computer game, but sadly, it didn't. :(

Sometimes I create them in my head, but usually I create them on my computer @_@

I'm kind of working on one that involves zombies, but it seems like lately we're getting a bit oversaturated with zombies, what with Dead Rising and Left 4 Dead and whatever else...

My game is a lot harder though...I'm trying to stay with a more strict George Romero style, where headshots are the only way to kill them. I haven't seen too many zombie games that really felt Romero-ish, though Neil Manke's "They Hunger" mod for Half-Life came pretty close...and Resident Evil at first, but then they got all weird mutaty virus on us...I guess I'm just a purist

Jedi Knight and Jedi Outcast both have extensive editing resources released.
