Visions of Mana, a cute JRPG about a group journeying to a great tree, so most of them can sacrifice themselves to the tree whilst one is mean to keep them safe on the journey. Yeah, sort of messed up story but the characters and Pokémon looking critters they fight are awfully cute.

The English dubbing is awful though at least in my opinion, to the point of if there wasn't the option to set it to Japanese with English subtitles I don't think I could play the game. I switched to Japanese just out of curiosity after the intro/tutorial played out in English since I saw it was an option. Then after finding other characters that join the party put it back on English to compare....and they gave the worst country western accent to one of the female characters which I hated so I immediately switched it back to Japanese.

It was like a dream I once had where I left my work office for lunch and when I stepped outside I saw a huge ship in the sky. This was over five years ago, and has nothing to do with WoW, and it was a dream. It wasn't real, like in World of Warcraft.

(It's October. Halloween in October. They did this last year, and I had the same reaction. However, I thought Halloween started in August, according to Walgreens.)

I recently restarted my DayZ server on the same computer in the basement that runs my SCUM server.

It has been a couple years (??? maybe ???) since I've played. I think 2022 (???). I found screen shots on Steam from when my sons and I played in 2017. I like driving in DayZ. The cars have manual transmissions.

Viewfinder. A first person walking simulator puzzler. You're inside a simulation of some sort in which you can use a scene from a photo as a means to an end. For example if there's only a single battery but you need two, you can just take a photo of it and place the photo into the reality and now you have two batteries. Or maybe you now have a set of steps leading to a platform you previously couldn't reach. Must be careful not to obliterate things you might need.

I have been playing Dwarf Fortress. My favourite megalomaniac got bumped off and it felt a bit bland without her so I started a new fort with the same civilisation - no really interesting characters have emerged so far, but it's early days! At some point I'll reclaim the old fort and her terrifying iron mask and dwarf-bone crown and find some new dwarf to carry on the flame; in the meantime there'll be songs and stories. Her name will live on.
