I just wish Nintendo would sell the merchandise separately. It's like when I find out about a cool Kickstarter reward package, only to find that it's already ended.

They do sell merchandise and people do eBay and craigslist the rewards for sale.

If you want Non Club Nintendo merchandise you have to go to a Nintendo World Store or their regional HQ.
There is an NWS in NYC.

Again if anyone has CN codes, I'll take them ;)

You can buy the CN Majora's Mask OST.

I can see how it's much different from melee but I feel like I'm literally playing the exact same game now from brawl.. it's like they just copy and pasted everything with a few minor altercations.

It's a fighting game... what the heck did you expect?

In the very least I expected it to be different from the last game. I'm still playing as characters with the exact same move set on the exact same stages.

I do enjoy the characters they added, actually, I really enjoy little mac. It just doesn't feel any different from brawl for me short of a few adjustments. I'm still often playing as ike and I'm still typically selecting final destination and halberd. :?

That though is a matter of choice, not design; you dont HAVE to still play as Ike, or choose those stages. And really, if there had been too much change, well... it'd not have been good. Fighting games tend to NOT change much from one iteration to another for a reason. With this version, actually alot of movesets DID get changed (Dedede, for example, lost his previous down and back air attacks, Bowser had his smash attack and other things completely changed, Pit has a totally new side special, replacing the spinning reflective whatsit... the list goes on), and it changed things enough as it is for many of those that take the game seriously. And for those that play very casually. Changing things TOO much basically makes it a totally different thing, and that's not really what anyone wants. If someone wants that... play a different fighter.

Really, the changes, and amount/intensity of them, are proper for a fighting game. And a HUGE amount of non-Final-Destination content WAS added... wether or not people USE that is really their problem. OTHER fighting games usually just get some half-assed story crap with new versions (if that); this game got a seriously stupid amount of total new content.

I'm just going to ignore the bloody things for the most part. Too irritating to really want to hand over money for them. Unless I"m at an anime con and spot one (ridiculously unlikely), because I have zero impulse control at those.

Aside from that.... I'll buy Bowser (unless extra effort is required), and then I'm done with them, as my interest is pretty much gone.

Funny enough, they have lots of the lesser Amiibos here in Metro Detroit.
I saw quite a few of them at Gamestop today.
Though they sold out of them at my local Meijer (normally buy them here).

What do mean by lesser Amiibo?

All I've really seen have been Mario, Peach, Samus, DK, Pikachu, Yoshi, Link, Zelda and Kirby plus one Fox I stupidly didn't grab and the Captain Falcon I lucked into....had to order a Wii Fit Trainer for $40 imported :( I also had to spend almost $50 to import a Shulk Amiibo, never got a chance to pre-order any wave 3 figures. Only physical stores I have that sell Amiibo are Gamestop, Wal-Mart and Target....

The rarer ones.

We have quite a few of Samus, Zelda, Fox, Villager (which I got at launch), Luigi, Pit, Little Mac.

I have 3 Meijers (regional chain), 4 Gamestops, 2 Walmarts, 2 Targets, 2 Best Buy, other retailers such as FYE.
All within 40 minutes of me.

I live on the northern end of the core Metro Detroit area aka the boondocks.
(We really do have a lots of opened land with minimal development).

Anyways the March Amiibo releases are:
Ness, Charizard, Robin, Lucina, and the Mario Party ones.
The rest come in May according to the Amiibo site.

We also had Wii Fit Trainer, Marth, and someone else that was in stock through the end of 2014.
Now you'd be lucky to find them out here.

Yup, he's not that popular over here.

Also Nintendo has reported 2 million plus sales in NA for Amiibo as of tonight.

I just voted for Lyn from Fire Emblem. :D I know some people complain about the glut of FE characters in Smash, but I honestly think she would make a great addition.
