back in the late Nineties, there was a videogame from the Alien franchise. The ad depicted a realistic looking sonogram with a xenomorph embryo.

Any clue as to what I'm talking about?

I don't know about the late 90s, but didn't the promo artwork for Alien 3 (both the videogame and the movie) have a sonogram-like image? I think it may even have been repeated in the film itself.

No, late nineties, I assure you. I think the idea might have been inspired by Alien3.
