i just figured out something maybe you all already know it and maybe not.

but wheately that little blue sphere was once spouting useless cake recipes in the original.

he was the cake sphere, i'm pretty sure of it.

the cake sphere is really just a nickname it's called the intellect sphere.

i figured this out as i was playing the game, wheately former cake sphere isn't very bright, and neither was glados in portal infact after he was thrown in the incenerator she seemed to get smarter, and in portal 2 this shows big time.

but he was really made to dumb her down, which according to glados she seemed to hint at that it was him that made her go balistic in the first place, putting bad ideas in her head. in fact i kinda wonder if he was never put on her would all the events in portal ever have happened, to be honest after playing this game i don't think so, i saw a different glados in this game not the manical supercomputer i once destroyed, sure she wasn't completely nice but i at least knew i could trust her.

and now i wonder if self aware super computers [which have a bad rap from movies and games] can in some cases be trusted. amazingly at the end i was sad to leave the lab.

now just so you know don't whine at me if you click on this topic and had the game spoiled for you because i made it very bloody obvious in the title this has spoilers.
