AGDI's King's Quest 3 redux

Has anyone here played any of AGDI's remakes of the classic Sierra adventure games? Well, today they just released their own remake of King's Quest III which continues their "Father" storyline of their King's Quest II remake. As before, the game's freeware. I'm downloading it now and if you're a King's Quest fan then I'd recommend trying it even if you've already played the Infamous Adventures remake of the same game. Here's the website:

Nope. I really like the original AGI graphics of those games...it's got a certain charm that really adds to the fairy-tale aesthetic. Especially if you played them on an original IBM PC Jr....you could watch it draw the lines and then color them all in (which was cool for a while, but eventually you just wanted it to speed up so you could play the game).

Lots of people like the original AGI versions, including myself. When I did try AGDI's VGA remakes however, I thought it was fun to experience those old games in a new light, especially since they are not 1:1 remakes. Their King's Quest II+ was practically like a whole new game with all the unconnected puzzles from the original spun into a story with lots of new puzzles that weren't even in the original.
Their King's Quest III Redux which they just released is not a complete overhaul like their King's Quest II+ but it's not a 1:1 remake either. It has a few extra puzzle and they even added an extra spell that wasn't in the original. After finishing the game, I must say that I liked figuring out some of the extra puzzles because, since they weren't in the original, it was like I playing it again for the first time, even though it now has point and click.
