Looks interesting. You play a dectective in 1940's era LA. There is one thing that worries me. People with AS may not be very good at this game. Rockstar has said alot of the gameplay is questioning people. You have to decide if they are telling the truth from there body languge, facial expressions. Hard to do for someone with AS.

Hmm, questioning people. Well I guess that could be a good challenge for AS people.

Sounds like it might be a decent way of training those skills in a stress free way. That's if they've managed to accurately depict facial expressivity.

I'd love to play that game.

Analyzing people's body languages has been one of my hobbies lately.

This worried me when IGN mentioned it, I hope they at least accurately duplicate real expressions so I can look them up

Yeah, I heard about the game. My first thought was "What? Didn't they use realistic facial expressions on Soul Rever 2?" While it seems an interesting game, it will probably be imposible for me to complete it without a walkthrough. :P

This is what i'm hoping for, but if the gameplay is similar to GTA like Red Dead Redemption was ( I felt it was way to similar to GTA4), i'll wait until the game drops in price.

If the game is similar to GTA, it'll just say "mission failed" if you fail to interrogate a witness properly, and then they'll let you try it again

I'm sure it won't be that big a big deal, anyway. There's a lot more to interrogation than just reading body language.

I know Rockstar used some kind of facial mapping tech for the game so the facial animations should be pretty accurate. I don't think it should be too difficult to understand body language in it though. For me I've always been good at reading body language in movies so I'm hoping this will be the same.

I love detective fiction and I love videogames, so I might pick up LA Noire if it drops in price. Reading Detective novels has helped my social skills alot, back in high school, with its focus on complex stories, morally ambigous character, and focus on slang and figurative speech. I hope LA Noire feels like a real hard-boiled detective novel and not just "GTA4 with detectives instead of criminals".
