Figured I'd start a formal thread dedicated to the game. I'm currently playing a bit more avidly and I'm high diamond now. Anyone else play mostly for ladder that might want to practice sometime?

My name in game is pedocows550. Add me everyone =)

I'm a no class user who rathers prefer to play custom games over official brackets.

Is there a way to get updates for the game without losing the ability to play in one-player mode?
I tried to do it on someone else's computer only to find that accepting the update meant losing
one-player mode....

I haven't really gotten into the whole ladder thing, I've mostly been doing some campaigning and playing around with builds against AI.

I like that last stand game. The one at the top of the popularity thing.

Is his copy of SC2 legal?

And why did you try it on someone else his PC? SC2 updates itselfs whenever there is a patch? Also it could be a bug but that was fixed long ago.

So what everyone thinks of HoTS? The new units seem like a nice addition! the game is going to look a bit more like BW!

I'm Dulcimer (909) on NA bnet. Right now I'm just top 25 dia toss, but I plan on laddering a bit more and trying to hit masters in the new season.

I think the replicator will be very difficult to balance. I also think Terran will still have the most viable options in the game.

Indeed, the winner played rather well, and the loser played good also.

I'm sorry, but no PC game no matter how good should cost 60 dollars. That's an outrage.

Starcraft is MUCH more then "a PC game"! Its becoming a true (e)Sport!

The community behind the game is real big and most of the people are good mannered. Starcraft 2 has a very steep learning curve and will keep you enjoyed for a very long time.

60 dollar for years of entertainment? Its a bargain!
