Hi.

I would like to share with you a little secret that makes the game GTA IV for the PC a incredibly fun game to play. The secret is Mods! Change everything about the game you don't like, be any character in the game. Roleplaying is alot of fun. Here are some of the things you can change with mods:

Your character and gender
Thousands of new cars/boat/helicopters.
New weapons
Drive around in a shopping trolley, or in a gigantic Tanker Ship.
Build new places, houses, stunt parks. It's funny to place a big ramp on the highway and watch those dumb NPC's make big airs.
New maps available, some bigger than Liberty City.
Roleplay anyone you want, from a woman going to groceries to a soldier fighting a invasion.
Spawn bodyguards to follow you and protect you.
Change the sounds on: Helicopters, weapons, vehicles, explosions, trains, thunder and rain, police sirens
Spawn any vehicle in the game, including new ones you added with mods

And lots and lots more. The whole modding process is quite difficult but i will help you if you want. What you need is:

SparkIV
Yaasil (Simple Native Trainer)

Hey, it isn't hard to mod really! When i first tried it it gave me so much frustration, but now i know exactly how it works and it's just too easy. Currently i changed Niko to Zoey from Left4dead, i'm driving my custom vehicles trough a mountain map which is about the size of Liberty City, with it's peak 15 times higher than the Statue of Liberty... It's amazing but for some maps you really need a good PC..

I play GTA SA, and I must say... It is one of the most un-user friendly game to mod. :(
I've been trying to make mods work for ages now, but it never does, no matter what I do.

I can't really help you with San Andreas, i have never modded that game.. But what i found out is that when you look for tutorials, there are always 9 out of 10 that don't work, then suddenly the 10th will work perfectly. Same goes for the files you need to mod.. many don't work for some reason, and other do. When i started modding GTA IV i tried so many things and got frustrated but now looking back at it i see how it easy it actually was, so easy that within minutes you could be ready to mod.. I hope you find a working trainer for SA :)
