Hey guys, I've just completed Skyward Sword and I loved almost every minute of it! If anyone here has played it, what did you think of it? :P

I got through it too after putting in around 70 hours or so. I like how the graphics are a cross between the cartoon style(wind waker) and the semi-realistic style(twilight princess).

Do you think you'll ever try to play through "Hero Mode"? I haven't yet.

I may play through hero mode in the future but I won't be playing it anytime soon. The only thing I didn't like about the game was Fi's incessant nagging. However, her fantastic theme tune more than made up for that. I usually listen to it for over an hour per day! Did you like it?

Skyward Sword has good music. I guess Fi nagging Link all the time is like Navi from OOT.

True, he was really creepy but he was undeniably a very effective villain. If someone wants to kill you or take over the world or whatever, that's reason enough to want to kill them, but if they are also a child abusing pervert, you find yourself even more determined to kill them! I know I did anyway!

It's a great game. Unfortunately, I was struggling with depression at the time that I played it, so my memoried of it are kinda skewed for the worse(too much info, maybe?), but I had fun. Great puzzles, fun combat, pretty art style, a cool villain and a lot of charm.

Being the longtime Zelda fan that I am, I have a few grumbles about what the game 'should' have been, but I had a lot of fun playing it and that's all that matters.

I had the same problem with Super Mario 3D Land. Assuming you aren't still depressed, try replaying it in a few months. You may appreciate it more.

Haven't played it.

Might get it sometime, as I've always liked Zelda games and I have a Wii.

So I started playing this game a while back, I don't like games ending and Zelda games can be some of my biggest offenders that I have to get myself to let the adventure end. So it is 2015 and have now beaten Skyward Sword, and that felt like one great ending. I thought that I felt of Fi as largely annoying, but by the end I actually got tears a bit when it was time to say goodbye, it made me think of some of the other games in a different way. I like the Zelda lore.

Overall I was not a huge fan of the motion controls, but I found myself having fun with them, like flying and I was actually getting pretty decent with it. Kind of made me feel like a hero when it was my slashes that saved the day.

I liked it, but I missed not having an overworld...apparently the next Zelda game is going to fix that in a huge way @_@

I hated it...in fact, to this day Skyward Sword is the ONLY Zelda game I haven't beaten. I despise the controls, the forced minigames ( example: that stupid mine cart roller coaster...I thought I bought Zelda not Donkey Kong ), the god awful Silent Realms and the worst boss in any game I have ever played: the Imprisoned. I actually stopped playing at the 2nd fight against that bullshtako excuse for a boss. I may go back just for the sake of once again being able to say I've beaten every Zelda game but I really hated it......

I liked it until I got to dark Link and couldn't defeat him.

Pros:
+New combat was good
+New controls were good
+Dungeon designs were great
+Good cutscenes
+Decent over world
+Decent characters
+Both Impas
+Item customization/upgrading
+Potion mixing
+Flying
+Goddess cubes
+Boss battles
+Boss keys

Cons:
-Fi
-Fi
-Did I mention how badly I hate Fi?
-Constant item description every damn time you played the game
-Padding
-Slow progression
-Constantly reminders
-Rumbling of the controller to make you talk to Fi.
-Tadtones
-Swimming
-I cannot express how much Fi nearly ruined the game for me.

I like the game, but I don't regret selling my copy.
There were too many annoyances that nearly ruined it for me.

I don't know why everyone hated Fi so much, I didn't even think anything of it until someone online brought it up.

Compared to Navi, Fi is about as annoying as getting king-size candy bars on Halloween.

On a semi-related note, is it pronounced to rhyme with "pi", or with "fee"? I was never quite sure. I was assuming that since she's supposed to be sort of digital, that it was pronounced like Fi the number pattern.
