I thought about buying a wii and add to my collections to my place I rent. I am a loner, have aspergers, dont have any friends where I live and am anti-social via meeting people in person that don't understand me or might find me as vulnerable. However to keep my time occupied from boredom and stress, what are some good games for a wii to help put me in a positive mood and root relieve tension from sensory overload? I use to have a super Nintendo growing up, but don't know much about video games or keep up to date on the newest things; however I can tell someone how to work a iPhone, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is, what are some good games? Is the controller hard to learn? As I get frustrated easily and lack patience and is Mario kart a fun game on wii? I use to play that and Zelda on super Nintendo. Thanks for everyone's help! I figured I might find someone to help me that has an obsession with video games. What other video game systems are good to buy? Does the wii have a thing where you can learn drums or is that just the ps3? Thanks again for any help! :)

I love Mario Kart Wii. It's fun to play with the Wii Wheel, but I find it quite intense to play for long periods of time. After a while my hands will start curling into the shape of the Wii Wheel lol. You can race online too if you can connect it to your router, and I like racing other people's ghosts you can download on the global records menu thing.

If you like CUTE and easy to play, you should check out Kirby's Epic Yarn! Even though it's easy, it's still really fun and it's good for a beginner, I think. :)

Another really good one might be Super Mario Galaxy. I ordered it new online but it still hasn't arrived yet. :( Apparently it's amazing though and I absolutely loved the previous games in the series for N64 and Gamecube. So fun. I'm going insane waiting!! :( There's a Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well.

My brother has Zelda: Skyward Sword and I watched him play it when he came over. It's really good but I found it quite difficult at times. Sometimes he got stuck and we couldn't figure out where he's supposed to go next (but we got there in the end). But maybe that was just us not paying attention properly. There are some puzzles in it and you have to figure stuff out and that's fun. There's also Twilight Princess but I don't know much about that.

Wii Sports is quite fun too. I think all Wiis come with that and it's good if it does cos it helps you get used to the Wiimote. I got addicted to Wii Tennis when I first got my Wii.

I dunno about learning drums. I have a guitar hero for Wii and I think you can buy drums for that and play the drum part, but my guitar took a long time to find where I live (the version I wanted didn't come with a guitar).

I love Nintendo and I love games with colourful graphics. Overall I find the Wii really fun but I don't have any non-Nintendo consoles so I don't know about those. Too bad I can't afford many games nowadays, there are so many I would like to buy...

Both Zeldas
both Super Mario Galaxys
Punch-Out!
Kirby's Epic Yarn
both No More Heroes
Resident Evil 4!! !! !! !
Muramasa
Metroid Prime Trilogy
Red Steel 2
Monster Hunter Tri
Conduit 2
Silent Hill
Smash Bros

Though if you want a Nintendo console, get the upcoming Wii in a couple months. It plays all the original Wii games too.

Rayman Raving Rabbid series is hilarious.

I can also recommend Madworld and DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi 3 to the below list. Though the latter you should have a controller for, and it has bad instructions, so use gamefaqs.com to learn it well.

Aaaaaaand.... Rune Factory Frontier, I suppose, if you can deal with it's flaws, which are listed on gamefaqs.com as well.

I'd recommend buying a couple of Guitar Hero games, because the instrument bundles for the Wii are actually quite cheap. I got my copy of Warriors of Rock with the guitar that goes with it, as well as a Soundgarden CD that was included for some reason, for about $80.

All the other suggestions are great as well.
