I have just downloaded FFVII whenever i go onto play it. It comes up with a start screen with two options continue game or new game. I cant move anything on it. There doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the laptop and I have plugged usb mouse into the laptop. Doesnt make any difference. Does anyone have any advice on how to make it work for me?

Are you playing it on a psx emulator or are you playing the pc version? If the latter then what OS?

That's quite a buggy old version, specially for Win7. You can do some searching, and you'll find many fixes and even mods to fix some of the shortcomings like audio, textures and FMV's. Or even enhance them, if that's what you want.

I can't right now, but when I come back later, if you still need help finding those, I may be able to lend a hand.

Google is your friend, friend.

"How to fix PC version windows 7 Final Fantasy VII mods", without the quotes of course.

There's also a FFVII PC re-release coming out just around the corner. Of course, I say "just around the corner," but the site and other sources refuse to give a release date other than "coming soon." It'll probably have at least compatibility issues fixed, but I'm not sure if they even fixed any of the old-time flaws. It'll have achievements, though... Not sure many Final Fantasy fans care about that, though.
