Mine...

1st. Syberia 1 & 2
2nd. The Longest Journey & Dreamfall: The Longest Journey (both equally great, IMO)
3rd. Broken Sword 1 & 2
4th. Machinarium
5th. Secret Files
6th. Red Johnson's Chronicles (recently played)

These ones caught my imagination. I've played numerous, but there is always a chance that I've missed some really good ones out there.

Your favourites?

I really liked Enslaved: Odyssey to the West and the Assassin's Creed games (I assume by adventure you also include open world games.) Growing up I also really liked Spyro.

bets upcoming one seems to be Paperthin...shame I don't have any plans on buying a Vita anytime soon, didn't really use my PSP much.

Action-Adventures still count here, yes. Spyro was a cool game.

My preference is mostly geared towards point-and-click adventure games, or just plain old "adventure" like The Longest Journey ones. As far as Action-Adventure games go, my top favourites are GTA, Saints Row, and Yakuza.

Apologies for any confusion, hope this clears things up.

I also really like Ratchet and Clank, even if their recent games have been lackluster. Brutal legend was also a fun action adventure game.

Full Throttle was a fantastic, if short adventure game that I recall fondly. I also liked Broken Sword but for some reason whenever I think of that game all I can remember well is the infuriating goat puzzle.
