What are your favorite Need For Speed games?

I like Underground 1, Undercover, Nitro, and The Run (although I found the Run rather easy).

It's funny you brought this up because just today, my little brother setup the Xbox and started playing Underground...I hadn't played the game since a few months after it came out and I was pleasantly surprised with it after winning a few races and drag events. Still a fun game with relatively modern mechanics. I actually beat Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) a week after it came out and have to say it was just decent. Certainly entertaining while it lasted but once I'd climbed and then topped the leaderboard, I was pretty much burned out with it. In general though, I prefer racing simulations like Gran Turismo.

personally I think Burnout Paradise I better then any need for speed game, but I do enjoy all the NFS Hot Pursuit games.

Hot Pursuit 2, on the PS2.

I've been playing racing games ever since I first rented that. I have never had more fun with a racing game than I did (and still do, I kept my PS2 mostly for that game) with HP2.
