I absolutely HATE trading, but this looks fun. Also I'm really impressed by the First Person engine/interface here.
I can see FPS style boarding actions in the future!! !! !! !!

I still have plenty of game left in Terran Conflict and Albion Prelude... I think I'll finish those before I buy this.

Egosoft is a GREAT developer... They are committed to making their games as perfect as possible, they support the modding community, and they give away plenty of free expansions too.

HOWEVER, their initial releases are EXTREMELY buggy... So, I think I'll wait for Rebirth 1.5 before I buy.
