Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Dante's Inferno or God of War?

All of these games have a similar gameplay style and God of war was the original, but I personally like Dante's Inferno the most and God of War second. Guess I just like the two tiered combat system.

It mostly comes down to slight differences and the atmosphere...horror fans will probably gravitate towards the Castlevania game.

I've got through all the God of War games, Dante's Inferno, and Castlevania LOS. I like Castlevania the most out of those games since I've played through over twenty games in the series. It's the best 3D Castlevania by far in my opinion, and it has some of the best graphics I've seen on the PS3 too.

Ninja Gaiden and Bayonetta are better than all of those games.

I got the PSN platinum trophy for "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" along with all extra trophies for the two add-ons.

I like God of War. I haven't played the other two. I didn't even try Lords of Shadow, because it just didn't look like a Castlevania game to me.

If I had to pick between them all probably God of War. Dante's Inferno was bleh and I don't like 3d Castlevanias.

It totally is the best!. My personal fav so far. I cant wait until the new one comes out in Feb-March. Iv been a fan of the series since 87 when the first one came out and own (and have beaten) all of them at 100% (platformers beaten with one man). Its my obsession I tell ya.
I think LofS is even better than SOTN. The latter I think had a dull story. LofS is like reading a good book with a really cool bestiary. Look into the history of some of those characters. Baba Yaga was in an eastern european folk tale.

The bestiary was very cool. That's for sure. I definitely appreciated the inclusion of a bestiary in the game.

I’m going to have to go with Castlevania: Lords of Shadow for this one. I really enjoyed that game. I’ve also followed the game series since the very beginning. Glad SOTN was mentioned here. For those who have not played the GBA stuff (Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, and Aria of Sorrow) go for it. I had great fun playing those as well. They have that SOTN style to it and offer a great deal of entertainment.

Not only did he cover a character’s voice, but he also narrated the game. Now that's awesome.

Out of those I would pick Lords of Shadow. I personally did not care much for God of War. It's a good game, just not really my type of game (the excessive gore, nudity, etc). I have not played Dante's Inferno yet however, though I've heard mixed things about it.
