I am 47 and kind of out of touch a little with the internet community, although I did spend a lot of time on Smogon, a pokemon website

What is a blog? Do I have to have a certain number of posts before I start one?

Is it just like a personal joural that you share with others?

I would like to talk about two things:

1) My learning to deal with my aspergers and anxiety, specifically in my professional work environment

2) My current hobby - Dungeons and Dragons, and my journey to a GM/DM (Gamemeaster/Dungeonmaster)

How do you let other people who might be interested know what your blog is about?

A blog is essentially a regularly updated site that is usually rather informal and conversational -- journal-like, generally. It can be on any topic you like. I personally recommend WordPress as a platform.

As far as blog promotion, social media can be an effective way to the word out. Or just email friends and associates with a link to it.

It's from Web Log:
weB LOG

It's a log written on the web, not a tree log though.
