Is anyone else into gothic video games, or games with gothic settings or themes?

Games like:
-A Vampyre Story (not out yet, I hope it gets finished!!)
-American McGee's Alice
-Animundi: Dark Alchemist
-BloodRayne series
-Legacy of Kain series
-Planescape: Torment
-Silent Hill series
-The Sims (it CAN be gothic--if you download the right clothes and housing options!)
-Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines

There aren't many, unfortunately, and I know that for some of those they're not really THAT gothic, but yeah. There is a game series called Gothic but it's not gothic at all.

I am very much into gothic things...do not have any gothic games yet, though, so shall have to look out... I want shadow hearts and that is fairly gothic from what I have seen. I like anything dark.

I've only played Vampire: The Masquerade - Redemption and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. That's about as gothic as I get... also used to do Vampire: The Masquerade in LARP too.

What could be more gothic than Devil may cry? I´d recommend it for goths, it´s a really cool game.

I'd agree with Lone wolf 100%. The original Devial May Cry is gothic as anything... the 2nd and 3rd ones though, not so much. Soulless, mobile mannequins, black ghosts with scythes, a giant magma-spider, and the style of the swords, castle, and everything else. Definitely gothic.

Dungeon Keeper, I'd suggest maybe. Playing as an evil role, killing the meddlesome heroes who attack you to defend their lands, attracting demons, torturing innocent fairies. Its fun, though old.

Sure, sure. Stereotypical, certainly, but so are some of the ones I listed, like BloodRayne. Hahah.

Oh, how could I forget that series? Hah.

Though, here's an answer as to what would be more gothic: Devil May Cry minus the cheesy lines of the sequels. XD "JACKPOT!"

Shadow Hearts. The story is just damn twisted at times. I love that game - the sequel isn't quite of freaky, but it's still one of the best games out there.

Also, the "Blood" games have gone shockingly unmentioned...

Rule of Rose sounded gothic. A shame it was banned in Australia.

there is upcoming game called "Sadness". i know it wasn't released yet (they're actually starting to make it -.-), but i reeallyy like the concept (likhos as monsters :>) and i'm looking forward to it :D [ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sadness_%28video_game%29 <-info ]

games like "american's mcgee's alice" "eternal darkness: sanity requiem" can look gothic. "silent hill' was a little gothic also.
well i only play horror games so i don't have no idea if there's any outside the genre :D
