Nintendo World Championship returns at E3...

A few minutes ago Nintendo announced that Nintendo World Championship will return after a 25 hiatus at E3 on Sunday, June 14 in LA.

On June 16th at 12pm ET/9am PT, Nintendo will hold their E3 digital event, similar to last year.
Back by popular demand, Tree House Live will follow the Digital Event and run through out the week at E3.

Also back by popular demand, Best Buy demo event will occur on Wednesday, June 17th, from 4pm-9pm and again at Saturday, June 20th Noon to 5pm.

The game this time is Mario Maker!

Oh if you don't like Mario Marker... Go for the free Nintendo swag and coupons.

On May 30, select Best Buy locations in major cities around the country will host qualifying tournaments for the Nintendo World Championships, which were last seen in 1990. The winners from each regional event, plus competitors invited by Nintendo, will meet on June 14, at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles for a multi-round Nintendo game competition. In the end, one player will be crowned the 2015 Nintendo World Champion. Fans in Los Angeles will have the opportunity to attend the tournament, while others can watch online. More details about the qualifying tournaments will be shared in the coming weeks.

Attendees will receive a sweet 30th anniversary Super Mario Bros. pin while supplies last for attending the Best Buy demo events.

too bad I don't have a freaking Best Buy.....I'll watch the championships though, I love watching others play Nintendo games

This just.... what.

It's been so freaking long, and now.... argh, I havent had enough caffiene to fully comprehend this one.

Have they said anything about what games might be included?

And speaking of Mario Maker, is there a date on that one?

Not a fully nailed down date, but they have confirmed September
