are you a gambler? I enjoy playing poker and some other games where I have some influence on the outcome, not lottery tickets or anything like that... I think I might enjoy the rush too much though, and since my AS causes me to obsess and fixate on narrow subjects or activities, I try to monitor myself in areas where I could go overboard like this... If yes, elaborate, what do you do/play?

I used to bet about $200-$400 every week, mostly horse-racing and Golf. Just from following a 'relay' tipping service. After about 7 months i think i was about $1300 up.

Eventually i had to stop because someone informed the social and my welfare benefits were put at stake. If i ever get off benefits, ill definately start up again.

btw - i would NEVER bet money for 'fun' - that approach guarantees you lose, and its addictive.

After losing $13 at a casino when I took a cruise about 3 years ago, I will never gamble again.

I enjoy roulette; maybe it's something to do with calculating the probabilities involved in placing a bet. However, it's not something that I find addictive. I'd never go to the lengths of borrowing money to gamble.

From time to time. Buying a lottery ticket when the expectation is not too negative and having a day dream can be fun. I modeled various trading and betting strategies over the years. The simple answer is let the professional risk their money, all other should just have fun.

No, too slim a chance of winning. Though I'm not against giving scratch off tickets as gifts to people I don't know well.
