I'm kind of in a weird situation right now. Well, have been for a while. The touchscreen on my DS kind of works, but only on one side. And if you touch the other side in the right spot in the right way, it'll act like your toutching the same spot on the other half of the screen. So, pretty much half (actually, a bit more than half) doesn't work. Which really sucks since Pokemon Amie is out of the question. T_T And before you say 'oh, theres just dirt or something under the part that comes over the screen, you need to clean it!' I already cleaned it, and all the buttons are working. What is this madness?

Did anything happen to it recently? Such as you dropping it or spilling a liquid on it. Maybe try configuring the touch screen settings if possible? You might have to pay to get it repaired. Sorry to hear about your troubles.

Nope, nothing! It stopped working a few months ago, mid game.
