I figured that it would be a good idea to keep a list of all the online games people play so that we could play together or pick up new games.

I've been playing Maple Story, Gunbound, Half-Life (1&2), and Ragnarok Online.

If you're looking for something that's fun and free, Maple Story has been my new poison of late.

I used to play a lot of MMORPGs...I have an account on Runescape and the still-in-development Planeshift...Started out on something called Priston Tale and later lost track of it...Used to have a MapleStory character...Played Project Entropia for exactly one day before uninstalling the program in a panic attack induced by a HAL 9000-like internal conflict...but my favorite was Final Fantasy XI. I eventually quit that because of my natural aversion to cooperative gameplay, which unfortunately was the key to progress on that system. I have been thinking of reactivating my FFXI account...or maybe I could just venture back into Runescape periodically to stalk the nice WrongPlanet forum members for no reason.

I used to think that those games would help me to learn to be social, but then I realized that it was not the environment that was the problem, it was me. I would always be the same, regardless of the circumstances...but anyway, I now simply enjoy computer games without hoping for personal growth or anything. Er...that had no relevance to the rest of society, so please kindly ignore me.

Only online games I played are text-based RPGs in form of MUSH/MOOs. :)

I used to play on the free servers of Ragnarok Online. Hunters <3 ^^ Played Fairyland for a while too, I found that kinda slow and hard to make friends though

I played Ragnarok Online until they started charging for it... played Everquest and Asheron's Call for a while but got tired of em. Played World of Warcraft after that but my computer just can't handle that game. Same with Frozen Throne. Bah. I stick to the old stuff now cause my computer's so gimpy... Quake 2 and Starcraft, oooohhhh yeah! I also play Tetrinet 2, which is multiplayer tetris.. but im guessing that wasn't the kind of game you meant.

I have Guild Wars, the free version of Anarchy Online, and I just got World of Warcraft.
I also have HL2 and BF:V, might get BF2 later but I'm not really in the mood for that sort of game atm.

Despite being a big Gamer, I don't play online games much. I'll play some games with friends I know... irl. But my social problems even transend into the online enviroment... and I never really try or want to interact with people online.

I am trying to play Guild Wars, since it doesn't have a monthly fee... but I kind of got bored with that game... and went on to other things.

But when SSBM online for the Nintendor Revolution, I am going to play that a bunch.

dragons, go to "Maplestory Global" if you're from north america and then go to Sign-up on the left hand side of the page. you also have to download the game, they have a small FAQ about it in the help section

I used to play MMORPGs, I'm not getting hooked on another one though. For me (and my others) they're life consuming.
