Same here... also I more like playing 1 game at a time because, especially if it's RPG, it's like I can plunge into the game, the story. :3 And that's the reason why I actually play RPGs.

As stupid as it sounds I'm currently obsessing over this topic, to be precise I'm trying to determine if it's better to play one game till the end or more games at the same time. Part of this "problem" is due to the fact that in the last 2 months I've gone a bit overboard and bought like...25 games on ebay, so now I'm a bit overloaded, sometimes I find myself changing disc 4 times in 20 minutes. But in general I think it's better to play only one game at once, so you don't forget the controls, you enjoy the storyline more and you get a greater sense of coherence.

It usually depends on what gaming mood I'm in and what games I have bought recently. Usually when I play RPGs, I tend to play them religiously at first, but I'll stop after a while and then play a game of a different genre. But then, I'll get into a different gaming mood, and play a different game. And sometimes, I'll go back to the RPG (I try to beat all the RPGs I have, when I'm in the mood to play one).
Perhaps I shouldn't buy anymore games right now if I haven't beaten the ones I have now.

It depends, some games get boring rather fast, RTS games like WC3, where it's often quite repetitive. Sometimes it's mostly because i want better game play or better graphics. =/

Depends on the type of game I play. Usually, if I like a single player game, I play through it. When I play online games, it's usually to take a break from the single player, or if the single player game I am playing has Online that people play. Sometimes, I might stop to play a mod for the game, like I stopped Half Life 2 to play a mod that makes it have more content. ( Smod, for you people that don't know. I stopped Smod to play a mod for this mod, that gives it even more content. It's called Smod Redux Version 7. It adds a thirdperson view, and a shoulder view, then another view that makes it seem like a movie, with a fixed camera, like the old Resident Evil games. ) There's also a mod that lets you play Half Life 2 and EP 1 and 2, so I stopped to play that. Same thing for the first Half Life. Though Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Fallout 3 are so gigantic I just couldn't play them and not play anything else.

i dont mean it like when you're done with one game and move on to the next, i mean you are happy playing this game and you could continue for a long time but when you try a different game the interest switches to the new one even though you were not bored from the last game. the old game just loses that special thing about it and you dont play it anymore.

it happens all the time to me.

I not only get it with games, but also with books and sometimes movies.

I also bought quite some games in the past couple of years. With them being mostly RPGs and my liking to play RPGs for months before finishing them, they remain untouched in my to-do list.

For most RPGs, I like to keep playing them for hours and hours. I like "grinding", so I love collecting items, skills, alchemy recipes and all that. Sometimes it is days before I feel the need to progress in the story, LOL.

With action/ adventure or fighting games I can play them for a while, then let them rest for some time while playing another.

I can be playing two games at a time, one on my Nintendo DS and another in my PSP. I have a PS2, which I love, but I never have time to play at home.

My PSP currently has The Simpsons Game, which is kind of hard for me because of the camera angles and all the bottomless pits... I will only play it for a while before I return to either Final Fantasy VII, Dissidia or Crisis Core.

My Nintendo DS currently has Dragon Quest IX, and that is the game that's getting all my time right now. It has 80+ hours and I think I'm not even halfway through it. I love it!

I'm still waiting for DQ9 to come out in English =/

I'm hoping the multiplayer is as fun as it looks.

I dunno because I am playing alone, but I bet it is. Only local multiplayer, though, so be sure to get your friends to buy their cards.
