nothing irredeemable (like big rigs, crazybus etc.), and nothing too expensive, just bad, or eh.

I've played South Park 64. It's the one South Park game that gets torn apart by critics, but I enjoyed it for what it was and wish there were more people who would give it a fair chance. The only people I've seen review it couldn't be bothered to play past the first couple levels.

In world of Game-as-a-Service MMO Pay-to-Play (not even Pay-to-Win) games, ze question shall be "Do you know any good video games?". Eh.

WarThunder - GaaS, P2W bushman simulator with absurd physics ("Realistic" warfare, ye say eh?)
WoT - GaaS, P2W, how you perform majorly depends on what tanks you use (the "meta") and RNG, not on your actual skill, very toxic community
TF2 - GaaS, Pay-to-Play (Unless you're okay being cut off any communication and often kicked out the matches because of that), unmaintained, awkward (and pretty toxic) community
CS:GO (Or it is Counter Strike 2 now? Idk) - GaaS, very toxic community. Haven't ever touched it myself, but there's brother nearby playing that crap so I've seen kinda much of it's gameplay

Maybe something off-line:
Half-Life 2: Episode 1 - Short, uninteresting compared to HL2 or HL2:EP2, Alyx irritates you all the time and is plain useless
Bloons TD 4 - Just feels cheap

There were more (esp. off-line) mediocre titles I've stumbled upon, but I can't recall them for now.

I've seen alot of really bad video games. The first one to immediately come to mind when I think of bad video games is Undertale. I would never play Underfail even if my life depended on it. And while I do, in fact, play Fortnite I will readily admit it kinda sucks. I never played it because I liked it, I played it because my sibling wanted me to and now the sunk cost fallacy keeps me playing it. Fallout 76, which I do actually play because I want to, also isn't great. It's a Bethesda game, so it's a given that there are lots of bugs. I enjoy the story and the lore, more than any other Fallout, but the plot is very clearly meant for a single-player game. The multiplayer just seems really shoehorned in. It's on most platforms but it's not cross platform and if you want to play on playstation Plus is required. I don't know if the equivalent subscription is required for xbox or not since i don't have one. After you complete the story there's not much to do besides events and they can get repetitive. Stealth is not viable since during events enemies auto-detect players. Not using Power Armor means you're going to die alot. Choosing melee over a gun also means dying alot. There are way too many in-game currencies to keep track off. The addition of raids has lead to alot of high-level new players that don't know the basic etiquette of the game. Among other things.

If you want a notoriously bad video game to play, try the Atari 2600 version of ET. The game was rushed to market so quickly to cash in on the ET movie that gameplay development was an afterthought at best. They used parts of coding from other games to slop together a "game" to tie into the movie. It is nearly unplayable, trust me on this. You play as the alien and constantly fall into a trap hole that you cannot easily get out of. It is complete trash.

The gameplay was so bad that the production company recalled the sold copies and buried a warehouse of them in a rural New Mexico landfill. People thought it was just a rumor until the landfill was located, permits issued and some of the games recovered back in 2014. Collectors bought up the recovered ET cartridges, and you can still find them on the market for sale on occasion. I still have two original copies of that game, as I never turned them during the recall period.

Duke Nukem Forever is considered the worst. More than ten years in development hell and it became increasingly outdated.

After playing through most of it myself, it's not that bad, but it should have been better and could have been much worse. I've got a soft spot for it.

Play the PC version of it. It allows you to have four weapons instead of two.

Content, lore by itself is fantastic, in fact game mechanics as well. But it's ruined by Valve's greed and that community.
Got to do at least one microtransaction to be "fully functional" player - Something that was introduced to "countermeasure bots", and of course didn't work since bots operated on stolen accounts... Oh yeah, bots. Valve cared so much they let vuvuzela-spamming good-shot-mate-o-trons ruin literally any gameplay for over two years IIRC. Game is in fact unmaintained, they don't care as long as they can milk it by hats and other cosmetics they regularly add. These are community-made, so they don't do anything beyond just adding it to the game.

And community? Some moan to microphones, some in their (lack of) behaviour resemble CS:GO players, some talk about their fetishes on game chat, some spread their political propaganda that way... And often if you are F2P you get belittled and quickly removed from match because yes. Generally it makes you hate everyone.

It'd be fun if you could do a LAN party with sane friends on a 3rd party server. If you can't, then all you got is playing with bots (I mean these built-in, not ones that once invaded casual matches).

Bad, but cheap. I guess Action 52 is out of the question. :)

Pac-Man and E.T. for the Atari 2600 were not only terrible but blamed for the video game crash. Although some people have said E.T. isn't such a bad game if you actually know how to play it. If you don't, most of the game is falling into pits and having to levitate out of them.

One of the worst games I've ever played was Rascal on the Playstation. It's a game about a kid who travels back in time to rescue his dad, or something. Or he's trying to improve his grades by experiencing historic events, I really don't know. My mom got me the game when she bought me the Playstation for Christmas in the late 90s. She said she got the game at the grocery store, and that was worrying. And my worries were confirmed, the controls to the game were awful. I ended up giving the game away and I felt bad because whoever took the game didn't know how bad it was. :(

The one game that came to my mind reading this thread is Mario Is Missing for Super Nintendo. The game is designed to teach kids about world geography  I only know about this game because my parents gave it to me. I never seen any commercials or ever stumbled across anything about it online. My mom was a pre-K teacher so perhaps she found out about it that way somehow. Luigi is on a quest to rescue Mario who has been kidnapped by Bowser. Lots of different pipes in the castle take you to various countries & you have to walk around talking to people & answer trivia questions before you can reenter the pipe to leave. I played it a bit & got frustrated because I couldn't remember enough to answer the d@mn questions correctly so I quit playing. I eventually gave it away to a kid a bit younger than me who's parents were friends of mine & they had a SNES. If I still had the game I would try playing it again while having my phone next to me to look the answers up but my parents didn't have internet till after I graduated high-school in 2001 & I do not regret giving that game away.

But...I love that game lol

Especially the music arrangements like the U.S theme which I think is based on Star Road from Super Mario World
