Advent rising was a science fiction xbox game that was planned to be part of a trilogy but the developers or publishers went bankrupt. It was penned by Orson Scott Card who wrote ender's game and was about humans making first contact with the aurelians and finding out that they have been revered as gods. Then, a second alien civilization known as the seekers destroys every known human colony leaving three humans alive. It is my favorite video game of all time along with mass effect. Sadly, it did not stand too well with the reviewers because of the strange controls and sometimes the ai.
