Why does Israel need US military aid anyway?

BP as in the oil conglomerate formerly known as British Petroleum? The oil industry is definitely influential in the United States, but I think your conspiracy theory needs some work.

Look up the history of BP. Eisenhower, as a favor to Churchill saw to it that BP was restored to Iran by using the CIA to put in the Shah. BP has been a major pain in the ass to the world for many decades.

Wasn't Barbara Bush connected to BP in some way as far as ownership/top executives goes?

Doesn't the US give nearly the same ammount of money in foreign aid to Egypt?

Indeed. And to the Jordanians, And the Saudis. Yes, the US is equal opportunity in arming people.

STOP AND THINK!

Why is America giving money to ANYONE when America itself is falling apart?

What if Ireland said "There are people in America who we SUSPECT of supporting the IRA so we will send cruise missiles into Boston to blow up their houses"?

What if China said "We need a military base in Europe"? Really? Why?

STOP AND THINK!

America and Israel are the ONLY countries who routinely bomb other peoples countries and no one complains. Israel blew up Iraq's nuclear power plant. Just a couple of years ago they blew up a site in Syria which they "suspected" of being a nuclear site.
They bombed the crud out of Lebanon for years.

Yet no one really complained? Gee, how odd.

America is putting missile bases in countries all around Russia.
What if Russia bombed the crap out of them all tomorrow?

Would people say "Fair enough. Russia is only protecting itself against a possible future threat"?

Last time I checked, the US was putting missile DEFENSE systems in countries surrounding Russia. Bit of a difference from what you're thinking of (Cold War). And hey guess what, after the Israelis bombed the nuclear reactors the Iraqs and Syrians were working on, they didn't try it again, did they? If Iraq and Syria really wanted to use them peacefully, then they would've presented the evidence to the WORLD that they were not building reactors that could make nuclear weapon components. If you ask me, the fact that they didn't is suspicious.

The way things have been going recently, I'm starting to think we should send them less guns and more spin doctors, they need better PR more than anything right now. Maybe we could trade them a few people at William Morris for some competent intelligence people, they have more experience bumping off Arabs worldwide and frankly we could use the expertise.

They are experts at spinning. That's why their general policies are so dizzy. The Arabs are winning by humping, not bumping so inevitably the Jews will be a minority in their own country.

1) There were and are people in America supporting the IRA and its ilk in their terrorist activities. Not one of the greatest things to do with a supposed ally. Maybe if the US had been so fervently anti-terror back then, the Troubles wouldn't have been so troublesome?

2) It is an American interest that Iraq and Syria be limited in their nuclear abilities. It could be said it is in the worlds interests as well. Of course they support nations that are reducing that threat. Syria already supply Hamas with weapons. Why would they hold back supplying a nuke, if they had one? Would Hamas for even a moment resist the use of a nuclear weapon if they had access to one? After all, if you turn Israel into a radioactive dust-bowl it all becomes a little academic. Eventually public opinion would soften, and the area of Israel would be freed up for whoever wanted it (after a cooling off period.) For the same reason that Hamas operate behind a civilian screen, they would most likely be protected from Nuclear retaliation. Paying close attention to who has the big boy toys is in everyone's best interests.

Yes. But hardly anyone complains about that. Help a semi-fascist regime in Egypt, not a peep. Help Jews, much shouting ensues.

They most likely will. They have chickened out in firing rockets ever since Operation Cast Lead. They probably would not like the consequence of nuking Israel.

Especially since (depending on the size of the nuke and its yield) a strong possibility exists that they'd end up either nuking themselves at the same time or get hit by the radioactive fallout.

They make sure the wind blows east so that the radiation kills the rival Fatah members in the West Bank.

Great idea...except for the fact that if the fallout went into the West Bank, they're also making that land uninhabitable for themselves...and they'd kill off any supporters they have there.

I would assume that particularly fanatical lunatics would be willing to wait on radioactive half-life if it meant they got their own way over the Holy Land. I also assume that it would never occur to them that God might find the nuking of his Holy Land a touch offensive, in much the same way that flying a kite near Kabul used to get you stoned to death (because God HATES kites) but firing ground-to-air missiles at passing helicopters was absolutely fine (because God doesn't mind having his airspace full of hi-explosive, or AK rounds, mortar shells etc apparently.) This sits alongside other such fundamental and completely sensible principles of offending a major deity such as "not having a beard", "drawing a picture of the prophet" and that absolute corker, "throwing rocks at women for getting raped". Truly God is greatly offended by these things. but couldn't give a holy s**t how many innocent women and children get blown into their constituent parts. Surely its only a matter of time before these loyal and utterly sensible disciples of Mohammed come to the ultimate obvious conclusion: So many acts committed by the living offend God that living itself effectively offends him. (Like Judge Death: Only the living commit crime, thus living must be a criminal offence.)
