My answer would be yes. Most normal people I ask take a while to think of an answer, and it's never a solid answer. As someone who is having a difficult time understanding the difference of legality and social perception. Rarely, if I mention I am in the military, someone might tell me my actions are wrong, or I'm supporting a bad cause... etc. Unfortunately my answer is never understood clearly. I think if it's not illegal and it's good money so why does it matter? Of course I tell them something like I believe I'm defending america, or doing my part. Anyway, I have asperger's, I'm 22, and my question to fellow aspies is if someone said you can have $1,000 every 15 days, and all you had to do was change your external views to pro choice or something. Something that you would have to tell everyone outside of your family that you believe in, but your family would know the truth, would you do it? I realize this is controversial, but I don't know whether or not this will offend anybody(should go without saying in this forum, but I digress) and I apologize in advance if it does, but I want you to ask questions if I'm not making sense.

Why would someone pay somebody to be a troll? Are you saying I'm a troll?

I'm not talking about advertising. I'm talking about profiting by making a controversial decision that is not illegal but goes against most but not all of societies view as, "the right thing to to". If you were paid good money to flip flop your opinions about something that doesn't directly lead to advertising, would you do it? Yes, if you over analyze the question, you could come to the conclusion that making money by pretending to be pro choice may in the long run be profitable by abortion clinics. But that is putting words in my mouth and at the same time not answering the question. For the sole reason of avoiding this line of thinking, let's assume that the provider of the money is in no way shape or form affiliated with abortion. Now...

It's like that joke.

A man walks up to a beautiful girl at a bar and asks, "Would you have sex with me for a million dollars?" - she says "Yes".

So the man pulls a single dollar bill out of his wallet and says "Lets go have sex!"

Girl says, "I'm not a whore!"

To which the guy responds, "I think we've already established that you are a whore. What we're doing now is haggling."

So joining the military for the money makes me a whore? Because... That's what all of this is about...

I don't think you can pay people to actually change their beliefs or morals, but you can pay them to pretend.


Throughout history on many occasions the Abrahamic religions have imposed unfair taxes or tariffs etc on people that aren't the right type of christian or the right type of muslim.

People on a nationwide scale are then willing to convert to avoid the discrimination, but even a century or two later, when the oppressors bugger off or are defeated, they will revert to their original beliefs.
