I think the real problem is that societies, governments, and a lot of people just suck. Gun control won't change that. The only real fix to this problem would be a universal change in attitude. If everyone did a little more to try to be a better person, we'd reduce the number of these gun-related incidents.

The gunnuts don't like foreigners telling them about how great life is without guns, and not having to worry about someone shooting you all the time. They just want to be left alone to live in their little fantasy world, where guns solve all problems.

What truth? That you can't read? So, explain, how does disagreeing with you automatically make me a gun nut? All I did was say how I didn't understand how gun control was this magic wand that would solve all these issues that have a lot to do with violence. I was hoping to have a logical debate, minus all the sales pitches and buzz that accompanied the talks, but I guess there is no haven for hyperpartisan sh**heads.
