They are different but anti zionism is an important if not the most important tactic used by Jew haters.

That may be, but even so I really doubt there is a massive Zionist conspiracy threating to take over the world or whatever.

I myself think in a lot of ways the monotheistic religions have contributed to a lot of trouble in the world...so includes Judaism, but also Christianity and Islam. The main problem seems to be when you have laws based on those religions.

I'm not against the idea of a Jewish ethnic state.

The problem is that Israel have destroyed a previously-existing ethnic state in order to create their own. For Israel to take over 90% of a country, and then continuously attack the remaining 10%, is what I'm opposed to. And the fact that Israel have constantly been at war with the rest of the middle east doesn't really help my opinion of them.

Israel is currently a recruiting sergeant for terrorism... many radicalized point towards the occupation as the source, so why shouldn't people talk out against a fascist state? Even the South African apartheid didn't (I think) have global terrorist repercussions, and yet somehow the one who's blamed as a terrorist-sympathizer (in the UK) is the one who wants to resolve this situation which naturally breeds extremists?

No, logic should triumph here. Nothing to do with a people, everything with their politics; fascism, though, should be opposed on all sides, whether Israel as a state or racial bigots.

Unfortunately its generally anti semites who bandy the term "Zionist" around. The situation in the middle East is complex and goes back further than the modern day establishment of Israel at any rate. The Jews have a legitimate claim on that land but the Muslims who live(d) there also share much of the same history which legitimises said claim.

Blaming the victim, I see. It is like blaming bank robbery on all those people who put money in the banks. If there were no money in the banks no one would rob them.
