Liberals are fighting against a larger bound-to-happen historical trend.. Partially liberals' own fault partially this world has always been a foolish place.

I do agree with the author,EXCEPT, This has been happening not since 2016, but since 1992, when William Jefferson Clinton came into office. We’re not at step three into the abyss, WE ARE ALREADY FIRMLY IN THE ABYSS, AND BEEN SO SINCE 2000.

I'd go as far back as Reagan. But I agree, Clinton's deregulations were a step on the gas pedal - for the whole first world.
