The case involved the Hindu sect known as Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), perhaps best known for its large (beautiful) temples around the country. The one in Robbinsville, New Jersey first made headlines in 2021 for all the wrong reasons.
