Mormon's don't party, and neither do I, and they don't drink or smoke, and neither do I, and they form strong social bonds, which is something I'd like, and they have singles groups, with very attractive NT women.

I've visited Mormon socials, imagine being in a room of 30 young attractive males and females 20-30 socializing not with beer and loud music but ice cream. Imagine young attractive mormon women coming up to you to ask you where you going to school, your major, etc. Imagine going to Mormon church and going in the time slot exclusively for singles, for the purposing of dating and possible marriage.

As an Aspie that's paradise.

Only downside is that their beliefs are crackpot.

Yeah. The downside is that lots of them don't believe in 'live and let live'. And I'm an atheist. :)

perhaps for some aspies, but we're not all the same remember... i, for instance, enjoy to smoke and drink, and i don't eat ice cream, nor have i any interest in being married.

and yes, their beliefs are indeed crackpot!! apart from anything else, i wouldn't really want to change my name to elder, or wear the special underpants...

You know who else would make good Mormons? Anime protagonists.

The Japanese directors maker their characters so completely irresistible to women, plural marriage is the only answer.

Hey, I would like to point out that even though NT women may be very attractive, they have that weird normal stuff to go along with it. They would most likely want you to dress how they want you to dress, even if the tags on the clothes bug you, or change you into metrosexual, eyebrow plucking, facials and lots of hair goo. Then they will change your deoderant brand, toothpaste, etc. That isn't the worst part, though. NT women get embarrassed about people whose clothes don't match right, they have a fundamental NEED to spend money on expensive clothes, they cry if they break a nail, get a pimple- and there is this weird shoe fetish they have. They all have to buy new shoes, it seems all the time. Then, they would be wanting you to go shoe shopping every extra second. Most NT females I know find it tedious to excercise, or they don't want to sweat or smell, and the pounds creep up slowly. Plus, they normally require constant attention and reassurance, and they will view you as a freak if you dig science stuff. Not to mention, they are very materialistic, and tend to get upset at little things that are said-making a mountain out of a mole hill. Plus, they always want a more expensive house, car etc. Status means the biggest house payment. I could go on, I am sure that not all NTs are like that, but thats the bulk of it. Constant competition with neighbors. (Thats just my 2 cents, and I hope I haven't offended anyone). Find a nice AS, aspie, autistic, I hear tourettes is a good match too. spirited!

Ya, I dont think so. Sounds kind of fake. I keep in mind that they follow a 'blind' faith. I don't follow the way I 'am' because a religion told me to. I do it because *I* want to live like this or that is simply more 'natural.' Probably more 'satanic' than anything.

Oh, and lots of us party, lots of us drink, and some of us smoke (some pot, some other stuff).

As well, I'd suggest 'Buddhism' before any other religion (my opinion)

I am Mormon (Formally The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) You are correct on the Social activities, but when you state that our beliefs are crack pot, we don't speak ill of other faiths, so why are you?

Secondly, We don't practice plural marriage, we haven't since the late 1800's when one of presidents of the church announced it in Salt Lake City, though I understand why you may think that, but please if you want to learn about our history ask those who are of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. We have not any sects or denominations, those people have been excommunicated other than the Community of Christ which could be considered a denomination, but no way apart of our church.

I wouldn't speak ill of your faith, so don't speak ill of mine!

Because we have a right to say they are crackpot if we wish. You cannot suppress our true feelings, just as we cannot suppress yours. We won't force our opinions down your throat - we merely give our opinions. You could say we're all non-believing slime who are going to burn in hell or whatever your imaginary friend teaches. Would I care? Of course not.

I haven't insulted you for anything!

And we don't tell others to burn in Hell! Tequila!

For heaven sakes, do your homework!

I respect your right to hold your religious beliefs. Doesn't mean to say I have to respect your religious beliefs though. Simple as that.

We don't go by blind faith, we go by the spirit, because we feel inside that it is right: We know it to be true, if we ever have a bad feeling about something (which we ask in faith), we don't do that thing. Faith is something that you have to discover, it can't come to you by evidence, otherwise it isn't faith, so why would people believe in something where evidence says that it is true?

Believing does not come from seeing, and if you really want to know, which I am sure you do ask "What is truth?" Ask and you shall recieve it, ask God; it is easy, just get on your knees, close your eyes, fold your arms and ask, and believe that you will get an answer, and it will come to you.

I hope you do come to religion, all of you guys.

Don't worry, I meditate roughly an hour a night. I'm all over the spirit thing, just a bit more laid back with it
