Perry: "If someone is attracted to a person of the same sex, he or she still makes a choice to engage in sexual activity with someone of the same gender."

This is correct? People can choose to be celibate ? I know the gay people argue that the brain is "locked in" permanently into attraction for one sex, but I don't believe that. I think the brain is flexible, and, people can happen to fall in love with either people of either gender.

They seem to all act the same, hateful and sullen.I wonder if they are all cloned from one giant fat ass republican that's hid in a bunker somewhere, like the Slurm Queen on Futurama.
I guess in this case it would be some sort of massive slime mold.
Another with diarhehea of the mouth.

If you can pull a "flame war" out of a fifteen syllable sentence I would say you should start carrying a pocket mirror in your "butthurt" pocket.

Sigh....
If Scott Esk does get elected it will be to the Oklahoma House of Representatives, not the US house, so therefor his votes and influence will be contained in the state of Oklahoma. I doubt he'll ever be elected to a higher office in Oklahoma or as a US legislator. Certainly he won't be the president in this lifetime. Even if he did, do you really think his stoning wish will EVER be allowed to come to fruition?? Think about it.....
None of you liberals would like Oklahoma, anyway. As a hate filled conservaive, I'm not even fond of it myself. The only thing of significance that comes to mind for me is that McDonalds that straddles the Will Rogers Turnpike.

It doesn't matter what he's elected to,what matters is that he said it.If he had been Muslim and made a remark about stoning someone to death here ,they'd holler Shahira law and call him a terrorist,so how come a fundie can get away with it?Maybe he should pack for Iraq,he'd like it there.Have a stoning every day.
I have family in Adair Co.,OK doesn't bother me.I didn't care about the McDonald monstrosity,I was more interested in the tall grass prairie preserve near Powhuska and an old Indian campground.Wouldn't mind going to the Woolaroc Ranch near Bartlesville.
I'd live there before I'd ever live in a city, but I'd also live in a swamp before a city. The section that borders Arkansas is pretty, nice trees and creeks.

I take it there's something unholy and unspeakable about the McDonald's on the Will Rogers highway?

There's probably people in your own county and mine and everyone elses that say the same thing. Zippity-doo-dah.

If he'd been a Muslim and said that you and your kind wouldn't care. "Oh well, at least he's not an Israeli" with a dismissive shrug.

Just this, which is hardly a monstrosity but a bit unusual and is probably the only one in the world. I heard or read that the food is sh***y even by McDonald's standards so I can't say I've eaten there. Just seeing it and driving under it was the only memorable thing about driving across Oklahoma.

You have to wonder what future archaeologists will think thousands of years from now when they find the ruins of that place.
