What do you think regarding gay people?

Homosexuality in every way should be prohibited by justice and gays should be prosecuted and have no acceptance at all
Gay people should have less rights than straight people, like no marriage, but they shouldn't be punished for being gay and be accepted 10%  10%  [ 8 ]
Gays should be equal in every way to straight people 90%  90%  [ 72 ]

Personally, I have no problem at all with gay people being allowed to marry, serve in the military, adopt children, etc.

There's nowhere near the amount of love in the world that there should be. If someone's soulmate/partner/lover happens to be the same gender what do I care?

I don't think homosexuals or bisexuals should be kept from adopting children just because of their sexual preferences. Just because one is gay does not make him a paedophile.

Equal rights for all. My view on pretty much everything is as long as it doesn't hurt anybody then it's fine by me. :D

It's also the fear that the kids will end up gay too because of the parents' influence.

I frankly doubt homosexuality in general is a choice but since there are some people who might go either way having homosexual parent could possible make it easier to observe that the homosexual life can be a satisfactory and rewarding experience.

this is my question. is it really a dichotomy, gay vs. straight? is there a distinct separation point?

if the whole thing is seen as a question of "gay" or "straight," who becomes "the other." (who becomes "the strange one?")

how comfortable is it to be seen that way, do you suppose?

(i already know the answer to this one first-hand. but am interested in others' perceptions.)
