I don't even care for Houston as a city (Not the people I have a problem with, just the endless highways and looming buildings) but what she's doing is in poor taste and she really needs to act her age.

Wrong, the first amendment clearly states: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof". We have freedom in this country to spread the Gospel message of Jesus Christ! We have religious freedom. And you totally missed my point anyway about people being open to discuss it. It is not against the law to evangelize. You may want to live in communist N. Korea and see how you enjoy your non-religion there.

I live in an area of Virginia which is also technically the Bible Belt, (in fact we have two major "Buckle" belt cities ) and I will tell you this:

In the Bible Belt, people are more freely allowed to discuss religion open and honestly without getting vitriol hatred or opposition. You can talk about the Lord Jesus Christ, salvation, and why it matters. People are open to having that discussion. If you mean that people who don't like oppressive PC culture, then yes I suppose so. The Bible belt people are friendlier in general, hard working, and believe in personal responsibility and accountability In general, we don't allow our criminals to walk free. People have a sense of honor and duty to those around them. I don't see any of these liberal elites doing anything to help their communities. Other than complaining about "white privilege" or gender neutral bathrooms.

You're full of it...you cannot get jail time simply for talking about your lord jesus christ, that is not true.

And sure bible belt people are friendly if you're a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant), not so much if you're a pagan, a metalhead, from an ethnic minority, homosexual, atheist, or deviate from typical gender norms.

Rednecks hardly ever use the term WASP. They say "Cawcashun" a lot more despite how true Caucasians are Armenian, Georgian, Iranian, and Turkish as well as some other nationalities. Those people are white as well but rednecks think only they are white. They make the white world smaller than it really is.

Otherwise, I've seen the discrimination for the things you posted. They actually think paganism and atheism are the same as "devuhl wurship".

I happen to be a Wasp and there is nothing wrong with it. I don't have any malice towards anyone. There is a hatred lately towards us, because people blame us for almost every injustice in the world. It just seems so petty to me. The people who are bashing Christians. We get it, you hate "rednecks' blah blah blah. Its just the same coin only the flipped side . There is nothing wrong with being traditional, white, Christian heterosexual, or male. Nothing.

You just contradicted yourself. Earlier you were claiming you could be jailed for preaching the Gospel but now you say there is no restriction? :? Religious freedom also cuts both ways, not just yours and those who don't want to be preached to have the freedom to tell you to mind your own f*****g business.

You do realize that there are nations outside the US that are majority Christian, right? In fact, two nations that rednecks despise, Russia and Mexico, are majority Christian. Rednecks don't even truly like Israel because they hate Jews behind their backs. Countries like Ethiopia and Armenia were also Christian nations long before the US ever existed so what really makes us so special? Places like Zimbabwe and Uganda are glaring examples of why religion and politics should not mix.

By the way, Christian nations can be communist as well. Russia, Poland, Venezuela, Vietnam (in the past) and Cuba are some examples. China is also projected to become the biggest Christian nation by 2025.

Get real already. Your kind don't even like other white groups because you've been brainwashed by mainstream Christianity for so long. You don't even realize English is a European language and Christianity developed in the Middle East. It doesn't matter if you call yourself WASP because rednecks hardly ever use the term. As I said before, they drunkingly burp out that they are "Cawcashun" 99.9% of the time.

Traditional? You don't even know where your "traditions" come from. They didn't just spring up on this land but evolved out of European culture but rednecks despise Europe. Every redneck I know calls European culture "You're-a-pee'in!" and think it's "queer". Really?

If RV wants to live in a non-PC Christian nation, why doesn't he just move to Uganda?

Is it because they're black?

You claimed there were places in this country (I take that to mean America) where you could be jailed for preaching the Gospel. This is factually incorrect.
Yes, maybe the rest of us need to know more about Bible Belt people, but obviously Bible Belt people need to learn more about the rest of us.

In Christ there is no Jew, nor Greek, nor Gentile. But we can pray for our enemies. I just assume let it go. because you and I will never agree.

I can tell you right now, WASPs have never been under attack. Not now, not ever. The only change is that people, because of their skin color, national origin, sexuality or religion who had been treated as second class citizens are gaining equality with said WASPs. Sharing our privileges and rights with others hardly is an attack on us.

I am 29 years old and have lived in the Bible Belt my entire life. I grew up going to church and a private school having the bible shoved down my throat. It did not "light up" my soul, it made me scared of the world. It didn't "light up" the people around me either. They still smoked excessively, drank until they passed out, had pre-marital sex, committed domestic violence, and gave them superiority complexes over groups who didn't walk in lockstep with them. Our world is not "fallen", it's just the way it is. There are religions besides the Abrahamic faiths who have their own ways of explaining how the world is the way it is. Do not tell me how to live my life.

Nothing.

Really?

I'm guessing you're pretty young, and I'm just thinking its a shame you're so cynical at a young age. There is no perfect world, because we live in a fallen world. We have disease, wars, famine, racism, etc. But that is why there is hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. For when a person is saved, the Holy Spirit guides them and that "light switch" comes on in their soul. Whether a person is WASP, doesn't matter. Its just the reality, that in recent years, White Anglo Saxon protestants are under attack. I don't believe I ever denied that Christianity came from the Middle East.

Thing is that certain Anglo-Saxon ethnic groups like the Irish and Germans weren't accepted with open arms but were treated as "others". Even today in the Bible Belt, rednecks will call Gaelic "weird Pagan words" and think German equals Nazi.
