However, progressives do tend to support a more equitable distribution of wealth than economic liberals (who are commonly called, these days, "conservatives"). Also, factually, most people (both progressive and conservative) would prefer peace over war.

The left is an entirely different issue. My views are only superficially similar to most progressives on the majority of issues.

What do I say to a Progressive who wants to share what is mine with people I don't even know, whether or not I consent?

No wonder the left hates Sheriff Joe so much.
I'd forgotten all about this until now.

Yeah, because Arpaio and company are nuts. How would Republicans react if a public official were misusing his position to attack a sitting Republican president with spurious charges?

I don't want to work for Aerojet.Or General Dynamics. When I lived in south Arkansas a lot of military folks worked in East Camden,in the Area.No joke, that's what it is called.A very strange place in the middle of nowhere. There are lots of old buildings with very, very thick concrete walls. And new buildings with lots and lots of security.

Yeah, because Arpaio and company are nuts.

Well, the voters of Maricopa County seem to disagree since they've been keeping him in office for like 20 years. But then again Arizona is a red state so you wouldnt understand.

Like we don't get to hear the left screeching about trying Bush for "war crimes".

We don't all get to follow our childhood career wishes but we can still make at least a living for ourselves.

I don't think most liberals take the "try-Bush-For-War crimes crowd seriously. Very different from conservatives who seem to take Arpaio's charges seriously.
And as far as Arpaio's constituents are concerned, voting him back into office for the last twenty years is nothing to be proud of. And no, I don't want to understand red state thinking.

Well, Arpaio certainly has it on his mind enough for him to waste time and resources chasing a right wing wet dream.
And no, with my financial situation, I'm very unlikely to go to his county. Not that I'd ever like to.

It is just one of the reasons many people in other countries find Americans to be so entertaining.

I have no job skills, and I'm not good with people and noise. What job do you suggest for me,so I can make a living for myself?A library would be great,no chance here. Those people are not going to quit.

And I'd totally forgotten about the Obama birth certificate thing that Arpaio and his boys were chasing down so I doubt it's at the center of every conservative's mind.

They live there, though. If it's a problem for you then simply don't go there but I doubt you were going to anyway.
