Could Anne Coulter be an Aspie?
I live in an area of Virginia which is also technically the Bible Belt, (in fact we have two major "Buckle" belt cities ) and I will tell you this:
In the Bible Belt, people are more freely allowed to discuss religion open and honestly without getting vitriol hatred or opposition. You can talk about the Lord Jesus Christ, salvation, and why it matters. People are open to having that discussion. In some other parts of the country, however, you not only could face ridicule, but possibly jail time. And then people say the Bible belt is closed minded. Well, it depends on your definition. If you mean that people who don't like oppressive PC culture, then yes I suppose so. The Bible belt people are friendlier in general, hard working, and believe in personal responsibility and accountability In general, we don't allow our criminals to walk free. People have a sense of honor and duty to those around them. I don't see any of these liberal elites doing anything to help their communities. Other than complaining about "white privilege" or gender neutral bathrooms.
You're full of it...you cannot get jail time simply for talking about your lord jesus christ, that is not true.
And sure bible belt people are friendly if you're a WASP (white anglo-saxon protestant), not so much if you're a pagan, a metalhead, from an ethnic minority, homosexual, atheist, or deviate from typical gender norms.
Rednecks hardly ever use the term WASP. They say "Cawcashun" a lot more despite how true Caucasians are Armenian, Georgian, Iranian, and Turkish as well as some other nationalities. Those people are white as well but rednecks think only they are white. They make the white world smaller than it really is.
Otherwise, I've seen the discrimination for the things you posted. They actually think paganism and atheism are the same as "devuhl wurship".
I happen to be a Wasp and there is nothing wrong with it. I don't have any malice towards anyone. There is a hatred lately towards us, because people blame us for almost every injustice in the world. It just seems so petty to me. The people who are bashing Christians. We get it, you hate "rednecks' blah blah blah. Its just the same coin only the flipped side . There is nothing wrong with being traditional, white, Christian heterosexual, or male. Nothing.
Get real already. Your kind don't even like other white groups because you've been brainwashed by mainstream Christianity for so long. You don't even realize English is a European language and Christianity developed in the Middle East. It doesn't matter if you call yourself WASP because rednecks hardly ever use the term. As I said before, they drunkingly burp out that they are "Cawcashun" 99.9% of the time.
Traditional? You don't even know where your "traditions" come from. They didn't just spring up on this land but evolved out of European culture but rednecks despise Europe. Every redneck I know calls European culture "You're-a-pee'in!" and think it's "queer". Really?
I'm guessing you're pretty young, and I'm just thinking its a shame you're so cynical at a young age. There is no perfect world, because we live in a fallen world. We have disease, wars, famine, racism, etc. But that is why there is hope in the Lord Jesus Christ. For when a person is saved, the Holy Spirit guides them and that "light switch" comes on in their soul. Whether a person is WASP, doesn't matter. Its just the reality, that in recent years, White Anglo Saxon protestants are under attack. I don't believe I ever denied that Christianity came from the Middle East. In Christ there is no Jew, nor Greek, nor Gentile. But we can pray for our enemies. I just assume let it go. because you and I will never agree.
I am 29 years old and have lived in the Bible Belt my entire life. I grew up going to church and a private school having the bible shoved down my throat. It did not "light up" my soul, it made me scared of the world. It didn't "light up" the people around me either. They still smoked excessively, drank until they passed out, had pre-marital sex, committed domestic violence, and gave them superiority complexes over groups who didn't walk in lockstep with them. Our world is not "fallen", it's just the way it is. There are religions besides the Abrahamic faiths who have their own ways of explaining how the world is the way it is. Do not tell me how to live my life.
They found religion and not Jesus. I went to a Christian school as well. God will judge the Bible Belt if they don't get right with Him. It is something of a religious spirit. I don't think I ever told you how to live your life. I just was pointing out that your idea is a shallow one. Its about a personal relationship with Jesus. Our world is fallen because of our sinful nature. That is why we connect with the Living God through Jesus Christ and the Gospel message. No one is perfect. That is why we need Jesus.

So how do you feel about Muslims insisting that Islamic extremism isn't 'real Islam'?

I can tell you right now, WASPs have never been under attack. Not now, not ever. The only change is that people, because of their skin color, national origin, sexuality or religion who had been treated as second class citizens are gaining equality with said WASPs. Sharing our privileges and rights with others hardly is an attack on us.
Thing is that certain Anglo-Saxon ethnic groups like the Irish and Germans weren't accepted with open arms but were treated as "others". Even today in the Bible Belt, rednecks will call Gaelic "weird Pagan words" and think German equals Nazi.
Now, that is true. But as an American of largely German extraction, I've never seen real discrimination, other than a few brainless clods calling me a Nazi. I've never been denied employment because of my ancestry, though I think being an Aspie, with my quirkiness and bad interview habits, made prospective employers think twice about hiring me.

The same people insist they truly follow Jesus and will get defiant if you challenge them on that. Even if you mention how Jesus showed compassion towards the "losers" of the time, they will go "Nuh uh! That's crap!" and threaten you with violence. It really cheapens Jesus' message when so many just use His name as a cheap ticket to Heaven. The American church is sick and needs a radical overhaul. I was taught to have a relationship with Jesus but I saw too many contradictory messages all around me and the supposed "plan" the same people swore up and down was real to me was not happening. I know who I am and who are you to say I am shallow? I have compassion for other human beings as long as they don't attack me or others. I refuse to give in to the abritary BS society pushes about homosexuality being "wrong" or that practicing a different belief system makes one "immoral" or "Satanic". LGBT people have the same emotions and desires as hetereosexuals do and Hindus, Buddhists, Wiccans, Shintoists, Sikhists, and others can be compassionate and moral people.

The ironic thing is that if any of them actually got their ancestry charted, they would see that most of it is German.

Most certainly, as the Germans are the biggest ethnicity in America (we breed like rabbits!

Ann Coulter on Trump: I Bet on a Loser
It was a day on which she expended much of her wrath on denouncing her former hero (and confessing that she didn’t really like him that much to begin with) in a disgusted response to the news that Donald Trump is colluding with his Wednesday night dinner guests, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, to enact a law allowing 800,000 so-called “Dreamers” to stay in the United States while delaying construction on that supposed wall of his along the Mexican border.
“This guy is like a couch—he picks up whatever the person sitting on him is wearing,” Coulter slammed Trump contemptuously during one of her multiple right-wing radio appearances (this one with WBAL’s Derek Hunter) that amounted to a primal scream against the president’s support for DACA (i.e. “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals”).
“Whatever his audience wants him to say, he says—which is why some of us have been concerned.”
Coulter was even harsher on social media, where her fusillade of insults for her erstwhile fearless leader amounted to a Category 5 Twitter storm.
“At this point, who DOESN’T want Trump impeached?” she demanded in response to a presidential tweet that the so-called Dreamers “have been in our country for many years through no fault of their own—brought in by parents at young age.”
“If we're not getting a wall, I'd prefer President Pence,” Coulter added.
In another tweet, Coulter wrote: “Let's play Jeopardy. ANSWER: An Easter egg. QUESTION: What's the only thing easier to roll than Donald J. Trump?”
Thus Coulter’s apparently irretrievable divorce from Trump after a love affair that started when he requested a copy of her anti-immigrant screed Adios, America in 2015 and incorporated its precepts into his raping-Mexican stump speeches.

Fake news. Its not exactly what she said. Also Trump didn't really back down on DACA he just made a compromise with Democrats because some of the Republicans were dragging their feet. Trump is a man of his word. He is working on that wall as we speak. We need to pray for Ann Coulter. I think she is starting to get all Maxine Waters on us lately.

If Coulter is getting Maxine Waters on us, then we should be giving the Lord praises of thanks!

I can't disagree with that.

Coulter herself calls herself a "mean spirited bigot". Is that how conservatives want to sell themselves?
I don't buy into them being God fearing people at all. If that's true, why do they cut funding for social programs and have no problem with the saying "Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out!" in the military. Isn't killing against the Ten Commandments? I am more and more convinced every day that mainstream Christianity is more about power than anything else.

You are right Marknis; the "mean-spirited bigot" is a genuine quote from her own mean lips. I can't imagine any man wanting to marry her - she could possibly have been attractive if she wasn't to mean-spirited. But you can see in her face how her attitude has poisoned her. But she has to lie in the bed she made herself and can't change her brand now.
There are genuine Christians out there who have real love for their fellow humans. Unfortunately they get a bad name from the spiteful kind.

She's had a few cancelled marriages but can you really be surprised? It's not that she's "too much to handle" in an intimidating way but that she's a cranky self-centered person who probably doesn't want to do anything fun.
I do agree but they are in the extreme minority and the spiteful ones attack them as well. This goes back to maintaining power. They don't want to help people, they just want money. Why else do they want to cut funding for social programs, cut scientific funding, and attack LGBT rights?

Everything you say is undeniably true.

Ann doesn't seem as mean as you are.
